Account Manager

Job Description

The basic function is selling TechSherpas products and services; being responsible for servicing clients, and achieving sales and collections.

As part of our highly successful TechSherpas team, you will prospect, market, build and maintain client relationships and contracts with other organizations for the purpose of selling training products and services to corporate, government, education, and other commercial business entities.

Daily activities include: making 60+ calls a day to both new and existing customers, setting a minimum of 5 new appointments per week and consistently researching for new sales opportunities.

Entry-level starting salary: $40,000 base + commissions + bonuses.

Principal Responsibilities:

Meet minimum sales and collections standards as set forth in the Account Manager Compensation Plan.

Manage client relationships, including making calls to current clients on a timely basis, deleting those clients who have not purchased from us and are not likely to purchase TechSherpas services.

Provide the necessary service required for ongoing customer satisfaction.

Attend trade shows to generate new business as assigned.

Give presentations and briefings to clients as needed.

Master the information presented during sales meetings.

Use software tools on the computer to track client contact information, communicate with potential clients, and other sales-related functions.
