CITRIX CERTIFICATIONS

1) ADMINISTRATOR SERIES

The Administrator Series is designed for IT associates and focuses on validating core implementation skills. The Administrator Series spans Citrix solutions - from App Virtualization to Networking - and is comprised of 3 designations:

  1. The Citrix Certified Administrator (CCA) validates the skills necessary to implement a specific Citrix product.
  2. CCA Platinum is awarded to candidates who demonstrate breadth of knowledge by attaining additional CCAs in the components of the Citrix Platinum products.
  3. The Citrix Certified Advanced Administrator (CCAA) allows IT professionals to take their CCA one step further and demonstrate in-depth product skills on additional functions such as monitoring, optimizing and troubleshooting.

Application Virtualization
  • CCA: XenApp 5 for Windows Server 2008; XenApp 5 for Windows Server 2003; XenApp (Presentation Server 4); Edgelight 4; Password Manager 4
  • CCA Platinum: XenApp 5
  • CCAA: XenApp 5 for Windows Server 2008

Desktop Virtualization
  • CCA: XenDesktop 3; XenDesktop; Enterprise Edition 2
  • CCA Platinum: XenDesktop 2; XenDesktop 3
  • CCAA: In development

Server Virtualization
  • CCA: XenServer Enterprise Edition 5; XenServer Enterprise Edition 4; Provisioning Server 5; Provisioning Server 4

Application Networking

2) ENGINEER SERIES

The Engineer Series focuses on the skills required to plan and integrate select elements of application delivery, from planning - the tactical design expertise needed for scaling and enhancing existing infrastructure, to integration - the know-how needed to connect systems and create an optimized solution.

  1. Citrix Certified Enterprise Engineer (CCEE) for Virtualization: The CCEE for Virtualization validates an engineer's role in planning and integrating aspects of Citrix virtualization-based solutions. The requirements for this certification, including information on an update path for existing CCEAs, are now available!
  2. Citrix Certified Enterprise Administrator (CCEA) for Citrix XenApp (Presentation Server 4): The CCEA for XenApp (Presentation Server 4) is the legacy certification supporting version 4 and older. Those currently holding or pursuing this certification have the opportunity to easily update to Citrix Certified Enterprise Engineer for Virtualization. 3) ARCHITECT SERIES

The Architect Series validates the highest level of Citrix technical expertise and certifies a candidate's ability to design and analyze dynamic approaches to application and workload delivery.

Achieving this certification demonstrates a certificant’s ability to analyze business and technical needs and propose extensive Citrix designs that solve those key challenges.

  1. Citrix Certified Integration Architect (CCIA) for Virtualization: The CCIA for Virtualization validates real-world skills on the technologies required to design dynamic virtualization-based solutions. The requirements for this certification, including information on an update path for current CCIAs, are now available!
  2. Citrix Certified Integration Architect (CCIA) for Citrix XenApp (Presentation Server 4): The CCIA for XenApp (Presentation Server 4) is the legacy architect-level certification supporting version 4 and older. Those currently holding or pursuing this certification have the opportunity to easily update to Citrix Certified Integration Architect for Virtualization.
